Panos Symeou A2 Media Studies

Today I created a logo for my production company 'MPJ', we did this for our digipacks so that they look more professional and authentic. the process didn't take long as designing it didn't take any planning, here's my process of creating it. When designing my first concept logo for my album I used a program called In-design. I first decided to make a circular logo using the shape tool, i created two circles with one being smaller than the other to created an arch. inside I used straight lines to form an 'M', making sure that the lines where symmetric in between. I also fiddled with the lines so that the lines forming the arch where thicker. Next i applied the letters 'P' and 'J' under the the two triangles forming the 'M'. One i placed them with an equal distance to each other i changed the font and slanted the letters as in a designing aspect it looked a lot nicer. In lesson today we got started on our Album covers, we used photoshop to make it which could be a problem as I don't know a lot on how to use the programme and any advance techniques I need to use in order to turn my album concept into reality. To start my album I first had to upload a template of an album cover on photoshop. This will give the necessary guideline to size each panel equally. Then I applied white squares as the background to each panel, once that is done i can apply a base for the polaroid photos and since I currently don't have any photos i used a blank polaroid photo of the internet and placed them in the appropriate places.

Now that my class are coming to the closing stages of our editing our music video we are moving onto designing our digipacks. In this I will be creating an album cover and a website to commemorate our artist in the song (Niah). Before hand I need to plan my album cover style by creating loose drawing of what I want it too look like. The website will be done using a website called Wix.
